Summary: The apartment is as advertised (and shown in the photos) in a mixed neighborhood. A few comments: 1. The virtual key QR code is next to impossible to scan to get in the building front door. We ended up inputting the backup numbers below the QR code. The front door to the apartment has a different 6 digit code to enter and sometimes it takes a few tries before you can get in. 2. It will be much better if there are instructions in the apartment with helpful info such as the WiFi name and password, how to work the thermostat, as well as suggestions of restaurants and locations of convenience stores, etc. This way, we won't have to contact the property manager on arrival. 3. We got a total of one kitchen towel, 4 bath towels and no hand/face towels for 4 people staying in a 2 BR/2BA apartment for 8 nights. The property manager was quite responsive once we requested the additional towels, and he just said the towels are being delivered, which we found out overnight meant he ordered additional new bath towels via Amazon to be delivered the next morning. There were still no hand/face towels and we have to wash and dry before using. 4. The neighborhood is very convenient to go downtown but if you go east, it gets a bit scary. Since it is near Howard University, it is very noisy on weekend nights... with loud music on the street going until 2 a.m. 5. There was a broom in the closet but since we stayed 8 nights and receive no discount or extra cleaning, it would be good to have a robot vacuum or cleaning person to sweep up a bit. There is no carpet on the floor, so the dust just gets blown around. 6. There are a lot of kitchen utensils including cups/plates/silverware, pots, pans, coffee makers, etc. and a hairdryer in each bathroom. Those are much appreciated. 7. The check out time was 11 am but our flight was at 5 pm. There was no place we can leave the luggage in the building or lobby.
