Summary: The staff was very capable and friendly. The location was great and the primary reason we selected this hotel. The hallways were clean. The room was spacious, but needed updating. The cabinets in the kitchenette were in terrible condition, the bathroom vanity as well. The mattress was lumpy. The linens seemed clean, so that was good. There was an unpleasant smell in the room, that wasn’t in the hallway. The offered breakfast was meager, there was coffee, but the prepackaged muffins appeared to be kept behind the front desk which often was vacant, the staff seemed to stay in a back room most of the time. Glad we were not really there for an “extended” stay, felt bad for the people who were.
