Need a break from the busyness? Just driving through? Coming in to town to see family or friends? Want a weekend getaway? Come stay in a relaxing and well furnished farmhouse located on 40 acres in the hills of Arcadia, OK. The property features over a mile of wooded walking trails, a three acre pond, family friendly farm animals including everyone's favorite, Kenny the Clydesdale, a scenic back porch and more. The property and farmhouse is family friendly and accommodates up to six guests.
The house is about 1,300 square feet and has two bedrooms, one and half baths, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, shower / bath combo, an open living area and LOTS of space outside including a stone patio with fire pit and wood deck with an outdoor eating area. In the summer there is a garden outside the farm house and guests are welcome to enjoy fresh vegetables from the garden.
Guests will have the full house to themselves. The house stands alone on twenty acres. The property is adjacent to the owners twenty acres. Guests have access to the entire 40 acres to enjoy the animals, hiking, etc.
The owners live on an adjacent property and are available if any needs arise during the stay.
The house and property are situated in the heart of Arcadia, OK. We are about three miles from Route 66 and fun dining at Pops or the Chicken Shack. We are about ten minutes from a Wal Mart and Sam’s in Edmond and about thirty minutes from downtown OKC.
There is a two car covered parking bay and plenty of space for additional vehicles as needed.
The house does not have a TV as we hope guests have lots of opportunities to spend time enjoying the outdoors and farm life during their stay! The house does have high speed WiFi though just in case it rains or the kids need a rest / video streaming break or there are work emails needing a response ;-)
We are okay with guests coming to visit during your stay, but please let us know ahead of time who will be coming.
We charge an event fee of between $100 and $500 (depending on the number of people attending and scope and scale of the activities) for hosting events such as birthdays, showers, graduation parties, corporate retreats, etc. Please get permission for any events prior to booking and we will provide the additional fee at that time.
