The property was created to share intimate moments with a loved one, find peace and quiet for a creative retreat, zen out in the desert or have a solo adventure and take in the scenery with the local wildlife. • DIRECTIONS
Please make sure to follow the directions so to avoid getting stuck in any sand pits.
• ROAD TO THE HOUSE
The road to the house is a dirt road. An SUV wont be needed as they are maintained dirt roads but they can be a little bumpy.
• CAMERA
Outdoor forward facing recording camera for safety and security. Never inside of the home.
The property has a security camera or recording device capable of recording or sending video, audio, or still images. We require hosts to inform guests of any such camera or device located in a common area—even if it will be turned off during a guest's stay. We prohibit security cameras or recording devices in private spaces like bedrooms, bathrooms, or sleeping areas.
• A/C & Heater
Green Jackrabbit is cooled and heated by mini splits in each room to keep you comfortable all year long.
• FIRE
Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed.
If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane grill provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine.
• WIFI
Desert wifi can be super spotty and can go in and out. We have the best service for our rural area but people needing full time high speed might not find those needs met here. Not suitable to work from home from this location.
• GUESTS
You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests.
• IDENTITY VERIFICATION
You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used.
By renting this property, guest acknowledges that they have read, understand and accept the terms listed above.
