This updated 1920 Bungalow brick home is conveniently located within walking distance of the University of Utah, and a short 15 minutes from the airport, and 30 minutes from popular ski resorts in Park city and Cottonwood canyon. The Trax station at Rice-Eccles Stadium is one street east - only 2 minutes away so there is no need to rent a car, but there is off street parking for two regular sized vehicles if you do bring a car.
The VRBO Rental is for the main floor of this home. It is newly renovated and updated, with all brand new, tasteful furniture and has central air (cooling and heating), 2 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms, with 2 comfortable beds (one king, one queen), a 14 foot comfortable couch, 1 bath, full kitchen, access to washer&dryer, driveway parking, big screen HDTV with FuboTV, Hulu, Netflix, and Google Fiber WiFi.
Fantastic place to come watch a football game - you can hear the stadium announcer from the front porch and walk to the stadium gates in less than 5 minutes.
The Kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, toaster, oven, microwave, coffee maker, etc.
Convenient location on University street - come to drop off kids starting at the University, or for Salt Lake downtown conventions, or for Ski trips, or other activities at the University of Utah.
The property is close (2 minute walk) to the TRAX station at Rice Eccles Stadium. You may not even need a rental car if you time it right, you can get around town or to the airport easily!
Parking can be tricky in this area, street parking is by permit only but the south driveway is reserved for VRBO guests. It is a tight fit, but two regular sized cars can fit. Only one oversized vehicle will fit into the driveway space. A guest street parking permit can be requested at the time of booking but needs to be left at the home upon check out or there will be an additional fee ($100) to replace the guest pass.
This home is zoned a duplex, there is a basement apartment with permanent renters, they have a separate entrance. The laundry is a shared space and the basment renters do not have access to the upstairs VRBO. We ask that there is quiet time from 10pm to 8am. Being so close to the University of Utah, and in a college area, there may be some late night celebrating nearby in the neighborhood. This is noticeable especially after the Utes win a football game! :)
