Summary: This was a lovely house to stay in for a week, & host Danielle was super. In the southern entry end of Marin County, north of San Francisco & north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Main highway Rte 101 was 25-30 minutes away. There was easy access down the narrow winding roads to the lovely waterside towns of Sausalito and Tiburon, and the upscale suburban restaurants & shopping of Mill Valley, Corte Madera, Larkspur, Kentfield, etc. The views from this hilltop home were amazing; usually we could see San Francisco & the bay way out in the distance; twice we woke up to mostly fog curling over a nearby ridge, but by midday the fog had burned away. Loved the kitchen, the eating areas, our bedrooms spread out on three levels, and the hot tub off one of the decks. There are also hiking trails all around (but I forgot to bring my hiking boots). One bit of advice: upon initial arrival, have one member of your party get out & help guide your car into the steep driveway; so you can learn how the driveway first turns (& then goes straight to the house). Overall our party of four (adults ages 36 - 72) really enjoyed our stay; it was a great place for a family get-together.
